The Workers’ Museum is located in the former Workers’ Building that was established in Copenhagen in 1879. The permanent exhibitions focus on the history of everyday life and social conditions for working people over the last 150 years. Temporary exhibitions about specific aspects of working class culture or the labour movement are also hosted. The museum has a shop. It has a café and beer hall where visitors can enjoy a taste of the traditional food and drink of the masses. It is accredited as a four star attraction by the Danish authorities.
