The “Wheel of Life” is a sculpture created by Finn Nielsen in 1990. It stands outside St. Nicolai’s Church in Aabenraa. The sculpture was originally created as part of the FUTURA exhibition before it was purchased by a foundation to join the important collection of public art in Aabenraa. The name was given by the foundation as the artist does not normally give names. It depicts a stylised and textured circle mounted on an oval beneath.
