Vor Frue Kirke, or the Church of Our Lady, marks the site where a church has stood since the twelfth century. The original church would have served the convent that stood on the site, and little remains of it today. The present church is essentially a combination of building in the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries. It contains much that will interest the visitor however, including a magnificent carved pulpit dating from around 1600, silver from the same time, and an impressive organ.
