Veksølund lies near the centre of a small town in the Sjælland countryside, a short distance outside Greater Copenhagen. It is Scandinavia’s largest collection of modern sculpture. It contains a huge garden that is filled with modern and contemporary monumental sculpture created by some of Denmark’s leading artists. There are large indoor galleries that are modern and light that exhibit smaller pieces. The museum has a shop.
