Vejle Fjord lies to the east of the town, and its banks are characterised by rich natural attractions and three excellent beaches. The fjord is 22 kilometres long. On the northern bank are three excellent beaches with changing facilities, toilets and kiosks namely Tirsbæk, Ulbækhus and Daugårdstrand. There is extensive and attractive woodland that supports wildlife that touches these beaches. Cyclists can enjoy the fjord’s attractions since national cycle route 5 runs through the area.
