Map
Vega is a Copenhagen institution situated in the heart of the old working-class district of Vesterbro. It was designed by the renowned Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen and completed in 1956. It is one of the newest listed buildings in Denmark. It is best known as one of the leading venues for pop and rock concerts; many major international acts appear here. However the complex is host to a wide variety of other events, and the “Ideal Bar” is a popular meeting place for young people and tourists quite separate from these. Check local press or the website to see what is on currently.
