Varde Golf Club benefits from a location only a couple of kilometres from the town centre. It is a full eighteen hole golf course situated in a beautiful river valley. The course was opened in 1993. It welcomes visitors who may play the course on payment of a green fee, except when tournaments are in progress. There are no handicap restrictions although the course is designed to challenge even scratch players. Vending machines in the lobby serve cold drinks.
