Valby Park is the largest park in Copenhagen and a popular place for families to retreat to during the long bright days of summer. It is located in the suburb of Valby, which is accessible by S-train and bus from Copenhagen central railway station. As well as wide, tree-lined avenues and wild areas, the park boasts a large number of integral themed gardens. These include a herb garden, a Hans Christian Andersen garden, a disabled people’s garden, and orchard. There are restaurants, kiosks and cafes at various locations.
