Uhre Windmill is a key landmark and visitor attraction situated in a small village just to the west of Brande. The windmill was built during 1843 and 1844. It is in Dutch style and has large white sails. It was in use until the nineteen fifties. During the nineteen nineties it was extensively restored. The interior is open to visitors. There is an exhibition about the history of the mill in a building nearby.
