Uhre Church lies in a small village a little to the west of Brande. It was designed by architects Plesner and Monrad and consecrated in 1920. It underwent an extensive restoration in the 1990s. The church has a very unusual modern feel. The interior is light and bright and has a light wooden floor. The altarpiece is also very striking and unusual - a large colourful glass mosaic by Helle Sharling.
