The Town Hall Square is one of the central squares of Copenhagen and is a kind of Danish version of Piccadilly Circus, lit on two sides by huge illuminated advertising boards. The large paved central square is often the location for free concerts and exhibitions. The square is also frequently used a gathering point for parades and rallies. Town Hall Square is busy and bustling day and night. There are cafes, kiosks and hot dog stalls here where you can get a bite to eat, and numerous restaurants and bars. There is also a transport information kiosk.
