The excellent Tisvildeleje Beach lies on the north coast of Sjælland bordering the Kattegat. It features wide expanses of well kept white sand. The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag, the national indication that the beach meets high standards relating to cleanliness, safety, and environmental information. Lifeguards are on duty during popular periods. There are special facilities for disabled users. There is parking here and there are plenty of shops nearby.
