The Time Collection is a fascinating museum dedicated to the everyday life of the twentieth century. A series of six rooms comprise the permanent exhibition. These lovingly recreate the ambience of domestic life at intervals throughout the twentieth century. You can observe what kind of furniture, books, hobbies and toys would have been enjoyed in each period. It is possible, and encouraged, to touch the exhibits, and play the family games and gramophone records. In addition, temporary exhibitions explore some aspect of the past in detail.
