The Little Windmill is a perfectly preserved, although hardly typical, home from around the time of First World War, and is in the care of the National Museum. In 1916 a couple called the Flach-Bundegaards moved into one of the few remaining Dutch-style windmills remaining on the ramparts of Copenhagen. The windmill itself dates from 1783. The home is large, covers five storeys and is beautifully furnished in a national-romantic style. There is a restaurant and café on site, and guided tours in the summer months.
