Svendborg Golf Club lies just to the north of the town and is sited in gently hilly terrain. It has a full eighteen-hole course, par 72, that may be played by visitors on payment of a green fee. It also has a shorter nine-hole course that may suit the less committed, and a par three course that may appeal to families, beginners and juniors. A new clubhouse was opened in 2000 that has a restaurant and pro-shop. Equipment is available for hire. The course has a driving range and putting green.
