Stokkemarke Church lies in a small village to the north west of Maribo, on Lolland. It is partly sheltered on one side by an established patch of woodland. The church is medieval and is built of the large bricks known as monk stones. The church is remarkably large considering the size of the village it serves. The tower is especially impressive and contains three bells. The interior contains many inscriptions and epitaphs that will interest the visitor.
