The centre of Anglican worship in Denmark, St Alban’s church is an imposing sight for those enjoying a walk along the harbour front. It is a nineteenth century building and a good example of Victorian neo-Gothic style. It is suitated in the aptly-named Churchill Park. Its opening was attended by many members of European royalty, not least owing to the connections between the Danish and British royal families. Despite the style of the church, it is built largely of Danish materials. It provides a social and religious meeting point for tourists and expatriates.
