Sønderborg Castle Park is a beautiful green area, which surrounds the historic Sønderborg Castle. It looks out onto Alssund, which separates the island of Als, on which the park stands, from the mainland of Jylland. Visitors can enjoy fine views of passing boats. There are plenty of seating areas, wide paths and established trees which create shady spots. Nearby are a popular beach and yachting marina.
