Sønder Tranders Church is situated just to the south of Aalborg. It lies near the Aalborg University Campus. It is a village church dating from the twelfth century which now serves a congregation of the reformed Danish Evangelical Lutheran Church. It dates from the twelfth or thirteenth centuries and has a main body in Romanesque style. The tower and porch are in late Gothic style and were added immediately prior to the Reformation.
