Sødisbakke is a residential institution for the physically and mentally handicapped. It houses this unusual and interesting museum that has the intention of furthering understanding of the treatment of people with disabilities. There are exhibitions containing photographs and documents helping visitors to understand how treatment and employment conditions have changed over time. Particularly striking are the many art and craft works of high standard that have been created by residents.
