Sct. Nicolai’s Church
Kirkepladsen 1, 6200 Aabenraa - Denmark

Map

Sct. Nicolai’s church is located near the centre of the town of Aabenraa. Like many of the town’s buildings, it is ancient in origin, and a church has stood on this site since the thirteenth century. It is dedicated to St. Nicholas, the patron saint of seamen, reflecting Aabenraa’s rich maritime history. The interior is light and not over-fussy, but contains a couple of ornate features, a carved altarpiece and sixteenth century pulpit.
