Sankt Paul’s Church is located in the historic district of Nyboder, a village within Central Copenhagen. The church was consecrated in 1877. It was designed by J. E.Gnudtzmann. Its high tower and spire make it a landmark. The church is in Italian Renaissance style. The interior, recently restored, is particularly striking, featuring a crucifix above the altar topped with a relief of the carrying of the cross. The roof is decorated with stars. It is a venue for classical music concerts.
