Ringkøbing Church stands in the middle of the town, on the main square. The church is medieval and dates back to the fourteenth century. The ground plan is in the shape of a cross. In the nineteen nineties the church underwent major renovation, with particular attention being paid to the interior. Interesting aspects of this include an original organ front panel from the seventeenth century, and a very new striking altarpiece by Arne Haugen Sørensen. An architectural oddity of the church is that the tower is wider at the top than the base.
