Opened in 1996 by HRH Princess Alexandra, the Randers Rainforest is one of Jylland’s most popular attractions and has been awarded four stars by the Danish tourist authorities. The attraction boasts three huge space age domes in which every aspect of various rainforest locations is recreated – over 250 species of birds, animals and fish and 450 plant types dwell here. The Rainforest can be a complete day out; it has various eating facilities and an extensive shop.
