Ramløse Church lies on the western edge of a little village to the west of Helsinge. The church dates from the Romanesque period. The chancel and nave were erected in the mid twelfth century. During the Gothic period, both chancel and nave were extended. The tower is medieval, but was substantially altered during the seventeenth century owing to a partial collapse. A new chapel features a highly attractive stained glass window.
