The Prince’s Palace is one of Copenhagen’s top tourist attractions and now forms part of Denmark’s National Museum. It provided the Royal Family’s home during the eighteenth century. The Great Hall is its finest room and is sumptuously decorated with tapestries and adorned with fine furniture. Crown Prince Christian’s audience chamber is decorated with red enamelled panels painted with oriental designs – these were discovered during a twentieth century restoration. The palace has a cafeteria.
