The police museum is located to the north of the inner city in the district of Nørrebro, near the main thoroughfare of Nørrebrogade, a street ironically famous for its history of civic unrest. It tells the story of the local police force. The collection includes large numbers of uniforms, badges, photographs, documents and police motorcycles. It also tells the story of some of Denmark’s most unusual, daring and spectacular crimes. The museum has extensive photographic, film and video archives.
