Odense Zoo is a well-stocked and maintained attraction with a large selection of animals from around the world. It is organised on a geographical basis, so that one sees animals grouped together from the same continent; an African section features lions and zebras while a mock coral reef allows visitors to marvel at a range of exotic and colourful fish. There are numerous special events and demonstrations. The zoo contains several shops, cafes and restaurants.
