Nyborg Museum lies in the hear of the East Fyn town. It is housed in a beautiful early seventeenth century merchant’s house, owned by Mads Lerche and later extended by his son Jacob. The exhibitions include rooms recreated to illustrate living conditions in the house and elsewhere at various periods. A great deal of attractive furniture has been preserved. There are also collections of toys, weapons and artisan’s tools. The museum has a shop.
