Nørresundby Church is found on the northern side of the Limfjord bridge, across the water from the City Centre of Aalborg. The church originally served a village entirely independent of Aalborg, and has been here since the twelfth century. The chancel and tower are part of the original structure. The nave is more recent. The church’s interior furniture is highly attractive and dates mainly from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
