Nørreskoven is situated to the north of the 22 kilometre-long Vejle fjord, and is an area of outstanding natural beauty and interest. It is an ancient well-established forest of beech and other deciduous trees. It features several streams and small lakes. There are camping facilities here and a bonfire site. Of particular interest are the famous trees King Hans’ Oak and the Soldier’s Beech. There are parking facilities here, extensive marked-out trails and some bathing spots.
