Nørre Tranders Church lies in what are now the eastern suburbs of Aalborg, in what was once a separate village. It is an attractive traditional village church that dates from the late twelfth century. It is easily accessible by bus from the City Centre. It is particularly notable for its series of fine wall frescoes which date from the late fifteenth century and are late Gothic in style. These are in a very good condition and are of striking quality.
