Dressed in uniforms dating from the time of King Frederik VI, the “Old Night Watchmen” offer popular walking tours through the streets of Copenhagen as evening falls. Their tours begin in Gråbrødretorv, in the city centre. The watchmen guide visitors through the streets, revealing the stories attached to many buildings and places, and giving insight into the lives of everyday people in the past. Visitors are introduced to their songs and ballads. The guides speak both Danish and English.
