Naturama is situated in Svendborg on the South coast of Fyn and is a major tourist attraction, awarded coveted four-star status by the Danish tourist authorities. It offers an insight into natural history and zoology and is particularly appealing to children. The exhibition is divided over three floors into three themes: marine, terrestial, and aerial creatures. The essence of the collection is the huge collection of stuffed animals, but the use of high technology to bring them alive and create authentic environments stimulates far more than a selection of glass cases. Naturama has a cafeteria and souvenir shop.
