The magnificent modern Musikhuset is Aarhus’ Concert Hall. It was designed by renowned local architects Kjaer and Richter. The main auditorium seats well over a thousand; a secondary theatre holds three hundred. The Musikhuset hosts concerts of international standard that feature both Danish and international performers. As well as musical events the hall hosts drama and dance. A particularly striking feature is the two-thousand square metre glass-fronted foyer, which holds the restaurant and box office.
