The Museum of Water Technology is housed in an old waterworks and reflects the Danes’ interest in the practical application of science. The building dates from the nineteenth century. Inside visitors can observe working machinery and any number of old boilers, engines and pumps. The museum is located a little out of the centre, but is easily accessible by bus. Its pleasant surroundings include green areas and fountains.
