Munkebjerg Forest lies alongside Vejle Fjord. It contains several small lakes which contain a variety of species of fish. There are a series of marked trails most suitable for joggers and walkers, and nature lovers who are interested in the rich flora and fauna supported by the woodland. In part of the forest is Vejle Golf Club. The forest also contains a four-star hotel. By the beach to the north of the forest is parking, a kiosk and a simple playground.
