Munke Mose is an attractive and popular public park by the river. It contains plenty of established trees and places where you can enjoy a picnic in fine weather. The land was purchased by the municipality in the nineteenth century to prevent it being developed and was turned into a public park in the nineteen twenties with the support of a local businessman. The park contains a very popular, attractive and well-maintained children’s playground where the various facilities are shaped like flowers and animals.
