Lellinge Church is situated in the village of Lellinge, a few kilometres to the west of the historic town of Køge. The church dates from circa 1450 although not a great deal of the original building remains. It was extensively rebuilt and extended in the seventeenth century. The interior is extremely attractive and essentially dates from the early post-Reformation period. It is thus an excellent example of an early Lutheran take on church design.
