Landet Church is a village church located in the centre of the island of Tåsinge, which is just south of Svendborg and linked by a bridge. The church dates from the thirteenth century, and was added to in the late Gothic period. The tower was built in the seventeenth century. The church was extensively restored in the 1990s. The altarpiece dates from around the time of the Reformation. The churchyard contains the grave of the artist Elvira Madigan.
