Klosterhaven means "the monastery garden". It lies in the centre of the city of Odense, right beside St. Knud’s Church. It is a well-designed garden laid out very precisely and symmetrically. It was designed by I. P. Sørensen in the nineteen twenties. The garden contains roses and, during the summer, many other colourful flowers. It also contains more than a hundred different kinds of herbs which may be used for culinary and medicinal purposes.
