Klippedyr means “Cliff Animal” in English and is a striking and unusual sculpture made of granite and found in Aabenraa’s main square. The sculpture is depicts a form seemingly made of a combination of animals that organically combine with the form of the boulder. It seems to climb over a flight of steps. The artist, Claus Ørntoft, is widely exhibited and commissioned in Denmark. This work was created in 1996.
