Karolinelund, formerly known as Tivoliland, is an up-to-date amusement park in the centre of Aalborg. It features carousels and merry-go-rounds and all the traditional funfair attractions. It has a couple of particularly hair-raising rides in the shape of a 55 metre-high “free fall tower” and a 40 metre-high roller coaster. The park is large and features several restaurants, cafes, snack bars, popcorn and candyfloss kiosks; a full day out here is an option.
