Varde Jugendhuset museum is housed in an attractive house dating from 1901. It was built by a local architect and retains many period details. Its main function now is to house the works of distinguished living local artist Otto Frello, who was born near Varde in 1924 before moving in adult life to live and work in Copenhagen. The upper storey contains many works from the collection of a local pottery.
