The Himmelbjerg Golf Club lies some distance to the south of Silkeborg in the country of lakes of hills. It is a modern course laid out in 2001. It is designed to challenge players of most levels. There is a full eighteen hole course that visitors are welcome to play. In addition there is a nine hole pay and play option for the less experienced or committed. There is a full range of facilities including putting green, driving range and clubhouse bar which is themed as an Irish pub.
