Herslev Church, outside Fredericia, is an attractive building dating from the Middle Ages, set in an established churchyard that features mature trees. The church was extensively restored in the late nineteenth century. It features a sixteenth century baptismal font. A notable altarpiece also dates from the sixteenth century and depicts images of the crucified Christ, the Virgin and child and the Archangel Michael slaying the Devil.
