Herning Golf Club lies in the eastern part of the town, only about a kilometre from the town centre. It is one of the finest landscaped park-style courses in Denmark. The course has eighteen holes and may be played by visitors upon payment of a green fee. The course has changing rooms and the clubhouse has a bar and restuarant. Equipment is available for hire and instruction is available. The course has a driving range and putting green.
