The Herb Garden in Ribe lies just to the south east of the medieval city centre. It contains around three hundred varieties of herbs, originating from around the world, which have various medicinal and culinary uses. The various species are spread across three dozen beds. All the varieties are labelled in Danish and Latin. The garden is open at all times of the year to the public, who are invited to pick the more common varieties for their own use.
