Helsinge Carriage Museum lies just to the north of the town of Helsinge, in Laugø. It is located near the Laugø Smithy, which is part of the same association of museums, and also worth visiting. The carriage museum is located in a long building and contains a variety of horse drawn vehicles from several historical periods. Much of the workmanship on display is local. The items on display include vehicles designed for passenger transport and various sorts of work carts.
