Hadsund Regional Museum lies in a tree lined area near to the centre of the little fjord town. It is located in a historic building and is connected with the local historical archive. It has been awarded two star attraction status by the Danish Tourist Authorities. The permanent exhibitions of the museum trace all aspects of the development of the settlement from the Reformation. There are special activities laid on for children. There is a picnic area and a museum shop.
